The Vintage Fair 2025’s Oldies But Goodies

The Vintage Fair 2025

Where: Journey East, #03-02 Tan Boon Liat Building

When: April 12 and 13, 2025

Time: 12 pm to 6 pm

Admission Fee: Free

Vintage lovers were treated in this year’s Vintage Fair. This was the fair’s 10th anniversary, so there was an even better selection of quality vintage finds from the best independent curators in Singapore!

Many people have the misconception that this event is just another flea market, but it’s more than that. Not only was I shopping for beautiful and high-quality pre-loved items, but I also connected with fellow vintage enthusiasts, even making new friends.

Here were the fabulous vendors I checked out.

Stalls

Herra Vintage

Herra Vintage is the ideal stall for watch lovers. This stall had a collection of classic timepieces from esteemed brands like Seiko, Gucci, YSL, and Citizen.

I visited this stall several times in the past Vintage Fairs, and I’d always been thrilled to see the array of vintage watches. Even though most of them are old—some even date back to the 1960s—they’ve been refurbished, so they still glint as if they’re brand new!

Surplus Store

Even if you didn’t grow up in the 1980s and 1990s, you can’t deny the fact that fashion during these two decades is iconic. With its bright colours and bold design elements, it’s no surprise that 80s and 90s fashion trends always come back.

Surplus Store is a must-visit if you’re a big fan of this fashion style. Purchase a neon-coloured shirt and tight denim jeans, and boom—you now look like a character taken straight from Stranger Things

Eye of the Cat x Peony Jade Jewellery

Complete your aesthetic with eye-catching jewellery pieces. Thankfully, there’s a stall in the Vintage Fair that offers just that: Eye of the Cat x Peony Jade Jewellery.

What I love about this stall is that the owners—Jennifer Banse and Precilia Wong—source these pieces themselves. Plus, these items are so unique that you can’t find them elsewhere! I just know collectors will go crazy with excitement here.

PepperVint Home

Vintage clothing and accessories are great, but so are vintage furniture and home decor! If you agree, then you’ll love PepperVint Home.

This stall is almost like a treasure hunt—every trinket is lovely like a unique gem! When I visited last year, I saw Art Deco glassware from the 1950s and gaudy ceramics from the 1990s.
