Tampines Boulevard Park is officially open to the public!
Tampines Boulevard Park
Location: Along Tampines Avenue 12
Operating Hours: Open 24 hours
East Singapore already has its own share of impressive parks (e.g., Tampines Eco Green and East Coast Park), and now it looks like there’s another one to be included in the list: Tampines Boulevard Park!
It has a spacious area of 10 hectares and is divided into two sections—East and West—that are separated by Tampines Avenue 12.
Both sides have their own special features, and these are what I’m looking forward to the most.

Tampines Boulevard Park East
In my opinion, the Tampines Boulevard Park East is the perfect choice if you just want to lounge and stroll because this section has hilly slopes and grassy knolls. With all that green space, it’s hard to ignore the urge to hold an impromptu picnic.
This section also has a dog run, which is pretty big and has fences. I can just tell that my pet dog will love scampering across the gentle slopes.
If you have little children, they might like the nature playgarden, which really sticks to the “natural” theme. There are recycled logs that children can hop onto and a sandy log play area for the toddlers.
While your children play, you can relax by the swings. They’re located by the sandy play area, so you can still keep an eye out for your children.
Tampines Boulevard Park West
While Tampines Boulevard Park East has grassy knolls and an expansive green area, Tampines Boulevard Park West is essentially one big playground.
The most striking feature is the slide, which looks like a dragon head. There are even horns at the top of the slide—I love the attention to detail!
Another element that the playground has is a climbing wall. It’s slanted and has a rope, so it makes it pretty easy for kids to learn the basics of wall climbing.
The west side also has an elevated garden, which is perfect if you just want to relax. It’s bursting with greenery and home to butterflies, bees, and birds. There’s even a shelter and a water fountain if you’re too tired of standing up.
For children who love to ride bikes, the children’s cycling track is sure to delight them. It’s not hard to spot this track because the lanes are bright and colorful. Just make sure to have your child wear a helmet, and they can bike to their heart’s desire!
Finally, my personal favorite feature is the outdoor fitness area. I work from home, so I don’t get a lot of exercise. So, it’s nice to see that this park has an area with basic exercise equipment, allowing me to work out without my brain realizing it’s a workout.
How to Get Here
Riding the MRT is the best way to get to the park. Tampines MRT station is about 15 minutes away from the park on foot.
If you choose to drive, the nearest parking lots are Block 623C Tampines Avenue 12 (if you want to be close to the west section) and Block 413 Tampines Street 41 (if you prefer the east side).
