What to See and Do
Bring the kids to the Land Transport Hero Academy

Location: Zone 1, near the gallery entrance
The Land Transport Hero Academy is a hit with the little ones, letting them step into the shoes of Singapore’s transport heroes.
From crafting activities to fun role-playing, kids get hands-on experience learning about the people who keep our roads and rails running. There are plenty of photo-worthy moments, whether they’re “driving” a bus or fixing a train.
Pro tip: Let the kids try on transport uniforms for an adorable photo op!
Try the Moving Singapore interactive displays

Location: Zone 2
It’s one thing to complain about traffic, but another to actually try fixing it. I gave the Moving Singapore interactive displays a go, and suddenly, I was in charge of keeping traffic flowing in the city!
Tweaking bus routes and managing congestion through the Intelligent Transport System felt like a high-stakes puzzle—surprisingly fun and addictive!
Pro tip: Take your time with the traffic simulations. Experiment with different strategies to see how Singapore’s Intelligent Transport System keeps things running smoothly.
Visit the Connected Towns of Tomorrow

Location: Zone 3
At Connected Towns of Tomorrow, I got to play urban planner, designing a city with an efficient transport network. Balancing roads, MRT lines, and bus routes was trickier than expected—but also super satisfying when everything clicked.
It’s like a real-life SimCity but with the challenge of making it work for actual people!
Pro tip: Avoid lunchtime and late afternoons when school groups or larger tours may visit.
Get familiar with Future Mobility

Location: Zone 4
If you’re curious about the future of getting around, this zone is a must-see. At Future Mobility, I got a glimpse of how Singapore is making transport smarter and more inclusive.
From convenient fare collection to smart traffic systems, it’s all about making travel seamless for everyone. I even tested features designed for people with different mobility needs, and it made me appreciate how thoughtful transport planning can be.
Pro tip: Try the hands-free fare collection demo. It’s a game-changer for commuters with mobility needs.
Watch a feature at the Future Forward Theatre

Location: Zone 5
The Future Forward Theatre pulls you right into the heart of Singapore’s transport system with its 270-degree panoramic screen. If you love big-screen experiences with a dose of transport tech, this is a must-watch.
Watching the city’s roads, trains, and buses come to life in an immersive way made me appreciate the work that keeps everything running smoothly.
Pro tip: Sit up front for the 270-degree panoramic view. It’s the best way to immerse yourself in Singapore’s transport innovations.
Interact with the Training Workers of Tomorrow

Location: Zone 6
Ever wondered what it’s like to drive a bus or fix a train? I tried manoeuvring a virtual bus and quickly realised it’s harder than it looks!
The VR bus simulator and AR rail technician training let you step into the shoes of transport workers, giving you a hands-on feel for their daily challenges.
Pro tip: Don’t miss the VR bus driving simulator. Step into a bus captain’s shoes and navigate realistic city streets for a true behind-the-wheel experience!
Commit to green transport at MoveLite Singapore
Media from ltasg
Location: Zone 7
At MoveLite Singapore, I got to make a personal pledge to choose greener ways to get around. Writing my name on the pledge board felt like a small but meaningful step toward a more sustainable city.
Beyond that, the displays drove home how public transport, cycling, and walking reduce congestion and carbon footprints. If you care about a cleaner, car-lite Singapore, this zone is a must-visit.
Pro tip: Can’t visit in person? Make your MoveLite pledge online to support a car-lite Singapore and commit to greener transport choices anytime.
Bring home a unique souvenir
Media from knackstop
Location: Near the entrance
I couldn’t leave SG Mobility Gallery without grabbing something from the Knackstop vending machine. From MRT-themed socks to keychains shaped like bus handles, the quirky transport merch makes for fun and unique keepsakes.
The best part? It’s all easy to browse and buy with just a tap. If you love Singapore’s transport system (or just cool souvenirs), this is the perfect way to bring a piece of it home!
Pro tip: Knackstop souvenirs start from around S$2 to S$20, so bring a little cash or a card for easy tap-and-go purchases.
