Type of Cuisine: Buffet, brunch, French
Website
Swissotel The Stamford’s CLOVE is a must-visit, especially if you’re in the mood for a Swiss-inspired feast with the whole family. I took my sister and her children here recently, and dining here felt like we were transported to Switzerland.
There was a carving station, a salad bar (where their greens are harvested from their Aquaponic Farm), and a lot of desserts that the kids loved. Also, the cheese station here was divine, and we couldn’t stop ourselves from having rounds of raclette.
Tips:
- Do note that the restaurant has a strict smart casual dress code. Do not come in wearing slippers, sandals, shorts, and short-sleeved tops for men. You may be denied entry if you’re not wearing the appropriate attire.
- No reservation? No problem! The staff were incredibly accommodating and found us a cosy spot in a quiet corner. Just ask politely and they’ll do their best to sort you out.

Type of Cuisine: Buffet, brunch, French, Asian, Indian
Website
If you want more delectable French cuisine while keeping the little ones happy, La Brasserie is an absolute must-visit. Their weekend champagne brunch is a feast for the senses, offering a fabulous spread of French, Asian, and Indian dishes.
I took my cousins here for a brunch a while back, and it was such a big treat for all of us (especially since kids under six dine in for free). The adults got to enjoy a glass of bubbly champagne while the kids munched on pastries, dim sum, and curries.
Tips:
- If you’re planning to dine during the weekday lunch or dinner, be sure to ditch the shorts (including Bermuda shorts), activewear, and slippers. These are a no-go at this restaurant.
However, if you’re heading over for weekend brunch, you can rock your shorts. Just leave the slippers or open-toed footwear at home.
- If you prefer a window seat, make sure to ask for it when you book. Make your reservations by sending an email here.
