I love to eat it for special celebrations, so I’ve tried my fair share of restaurants. These are my favourite ones that cure my cravings quickly!

Eating Peking duck in an elegant setting is the experience, and one restaurant I like to go to when I’m in the mood for this is Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck. Here, the chef brings the duck to you and slices it right before your eyes.
I love that the duck is roasted to perfection, so it has that delectable crispy skin. It also tastes smoky, which complements the meat’s savoury and umami flavours.
I recommend putting the meat slices in a thick pancake, top it with scallions and chilli oil, and then eat the whole thing in one bite. A spicy-savory perfection!

- Their Peking duck requires advance order. You can do it via phone.

Jiang-Nan Chun goes all out in its aesthetics; its interior design evokes the pastoral lifestyle of the traditional river villages in the Jiang Nan region. Every time I come to dine here, I always feel at peace.
Another reason why I love this place is that they serve one of the most delicious Peking ducks I’ve ever tasted. The chefs here use mesquite-wood-fired ovens to cook the duck, and the result is a wonderful charred flavour for the meat and absolutely crispy skin.
For the utmost indulgence, your Peking duck comes with chilled caviar. The saltiness of the caviar truly brings the savoury dish to a whole new level.
Pro Tip:
Host a private dinner here with your loved ones. All the rooms are gorgeous, and they include amenities like leather seats and 65-inch flat-screen TVs. To reserve, contact the restaurant via this number +6567341110.

My friend described the Peking duck served at London Fat Duck as “the Wagyu of ducks,” so of course, I had to try it for myself. And now, I understand why she used that description.
This restaurant uses Irish ducks and a Hong Kong-style roasting technique, and I can taste the difference even though it’s really subtle. The meat is juicier and tender than other Peking ducks I’ve tried, and the skin is extra charred and crispy.
The only downside is that it doesn’t come with many sauce options, but it’s okay because it tastes great on its own.
Pro Tip:
To ensure your spot, book a reservation ahead of time.

What I love about the Peking duck here is that I can enjoy it in two ways. First, I dip the duck skin and meat in a sweet sauce with sliced leek and cucumbers. This is honestly so good—the sweet and savoury combo is top-notch—that I’m sure I can finish the whole duck by myself!
For the second serving, I get the remaining duck meat cooked in a vegetable soup. It’s super hearty and comforting—the perfect way to end the meal.

Forbidden Duck is a restaurant brand by celebrity chef Alvin Leung, who currently holds three Michelin stars and is one of the judges on MasterChef Canada. So, when I heard that he was opening a restaurant in Singapore, I was ecstatic, of course.
The duck here is slow-roasted, so the meat is incredibly tender and succulent. A mouth-watering smokiness lingers as well, a flavour that pairs well with the savoury, umami sauce.

The Peking duck is the signature dish here, and it comes with different types of wraps and five unique sauces, which I love. Yay for more options!
I love to experiment with the wrap-and-sauce combo, but the one I keep coming back to is the bamboo charcoal wrap and the black pepper and sesame sauce. This combo enhances the charred, savoury flavour of the meat, and adds a pop of smoky, peppery, and nutty notes to every bite.

Mott 32 is an award-winning restaurant in Hong Kong, so I was delighted to hear that it was coming to Singapore. I was even more delighted when I heard Peking duck is part of the menu.
Their Peking duck is roasted using applewood, so the meat has a subtle sweetness to it that I like. I love to pair the pieces with cucumber, raw sugar, and hoisin sauce in a thinly wrapped pancake, and the result is something savoury with a deep sweetness that sneaks up on me.
Pro Tips:
- Their Peking ducks are limited in quantity due to their time-intensive preparation process, so pre-order them. You just have to call the restaurant.
- Call the restaurant if you want to book a room for a private dinner. If your group has more than 20 members, then you have to fill out this form.

Lao Beijing has been a staple in Novena since 1996, and I can see why that’s the case. This restaurant serves classic Chinese delicacies, and that includes an amazing rendition of Peking duck.
The Peking duck here tends to be fattier than the ones in other restaurants, and I like that because it’s even more flavourful and juicier.
The duck skin is also served with kiwi slices and dollops of raspberry jam. At first, I was skeptical about this combination, but to my surprise, it actually worked. The tangy, fruity flavor elevates the duck’s savory, umami profile.
Pro Tip:
Book your reservation ahead of time so that you won’t have to wait a long time before being seated.

Whenever I’m craving Chinese cuisine, Crystal Jade is one of my go-to spots because it offers a great variety of options—from dim sum to seasonal treats like mooncakes. They also have Peking duck, which is absolutely scrumptious.
Their Peking duck is roasted using lychee branches, so it has a floral aroma and a mellow sweetness that gets overshadowed by the strong salty and savoury notes. I also love that the meat isn’t too greasy; I can devour large chunks without feeling sick of the dish!
