The Christmas season is always an exciting time, especially for fans of BreadTalk, a popular bakery in Singapore. The bakery’s gingerbread house kits are always a huge hit among families looking for affordable kits.
Each kit includes pre-baked gingerbread pieces, as well as icing and a diverse range of sweet decorations.
I bought this one for my husband and me to build together, and we enjoyed every single bit (including the eating part because it tasted as good as it looked!).

W Singapore is one of my favourite hotels in Sentosa thanks to their delicious and generous buffet spreads. So, when they released their limited edition gingerbread house kits, I didn’t waste any time getting one for myself.
The pre-cut kit includes icing, ribbons, cellophane, and other edible decorations. They’re also safe for children, so you can spend hours building it together as a family.
The decorations are so pretty, so I usually save the house as a centrepiece.
Tips:
- Stay tuned to the hotel’s social media pages to see when the kits will be released every year. They get sold out pretty quickly, and they sometimes host kit-building activities.
- All of their kits are available for takeaway. I recommend ordering the kits together with their other limited edition bakes and treats for the holiday season!

All Things Delicious is another go-to for sweet treats and halal-friendly bites, and a holiday staple is their halal gingerbread house kits. They are a big hit among regulars in Arab Street, where people line up and even sign up to win a free kit!
Their kits are very simple (to be honest, the simplest one on my list), and they focus more on how well you can draw shapes and designs using an icing pipe. The result is a simple but beautifully crafted house that you can eat (or store as decor for the season).
Tip: Stay tuned to the restaurant’s Instagram page for promotions and even raffles to win a free gingerbread house kit. My kids love signing up for these, and although we don’t always win, it’s a great way to support the local business.

Miss Muffet’s gingerbread house kits are also known for being simple, but they’re super fun to make thanks to the numerous decoration options they give you with each order. They offer colourful hollies, white icing, berries, and more to complete the house.
Since they’re known as a cake boutique, expect that they will give you a ton of kit inspirations. The kits are delicious, and they even come with mini gingerbread men to top off the whole landscape!
Tip: Give the cake shop a call when you order their gingerbread house kits. They need at least a few days to complete your orders, and if you order big batches, you’ll need to inform them in advance.
